Why a gratitude journal rocks!
Write a gratitude journal. Every day before you go to bed. Take five minutes to list at least three things you are grateful for. Sounds easy? Give it a try. Watch yourself changing.
Often we take love and people and things for granted. We don’t cherish the moment. We don’t have time.
You don’t have time you make time!!!
Do you enjoy the sun rise or the cold full moon? What do you feel? Do you enjoy the smell of freshly baked bread or a hot cup of coffee? Do you make room for this in your life?
That’s exactly what happens when you write a gratitude journal. You invite the little things back in. Cancer, depression, divorce, unemployment suck you dry. You need to fill the well on a regular basis. Otherwise there is no place to turn to when times get really rough.
It’s like meditation light. No folded legs on a cushion. No breath counting. No elaborate technique. Just you in wonder about your surroundings.
Give it a go and tell me how it went.
