How you turn emotional disaster into pure possibility
Candlelight. An open fire-place. An old house that once belonged to a wine grower in southern france. We sat around a big wooden table, drank red wine and solved all the problems of the world.
One of our friends just lost her husband. Kind of a bittersweet feeling in the air.
And yet as the evening went on our friend began to shine. We’ve never seen her that light and sparkly before. And sadly never after. The window closed.
Since I work with deeply hurt people I’ve seen it before. To me it seems in times of upheaval and emotional turmoil there always seems to be a window of possibility. You can almost feel when it opens and you certainly feel when it’s closed. During that short period everything goes or can go. You have to allow it.
Any emotional disaster cracks us open. We don’t want it. We fight it. And it happens anyway. It hurts so much. YES.
But, why don’t you dive into it? Let yourself sink down to the ground of your being. Get to know yourself. Rise to the top knowing WHO YOU ARE and WHAT YOU ARE HERE FOR.
